Requirements
- Registered Nurse (General, Theatre Technique qualification advantageous)
with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a theatre environment, with at least 3
years in a leadership or supervisory role within a private hospital. - Strong clinical and technical knowledge of surgical procedures, theatre
protocols, and infection control standards. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Sound financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and resources
effectively. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing (essential).
- Post-basic qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing Science
(advantageous). - Management or Leadership qualification (advantageous).
- Current registration with SANC.
